I think that rings and discount systems are wonderful for reference planners or memory keeping but much more restrictive for day to day carries. I love my Sterling ink B6 vertices, Standard TN vertical and N2 (weeks) vertical. I am new to their planners but love the versatility and you are correct, they lie flat with training and bending back and with use.

It’s amazing how much more space without the quotes, my Sterling B6 has almost as much usable space as the Hobonichi A5

Great ideas. Our son went to graduate school in Seattle, he struggled in winter with the lack of sun and had to use sunlamps. He was used to rain, dampness but a lot of light.

Welcome back!!! I just started getting over my fear as well and posted my first video on my 2024 Hobonichi haul. I 100% recommend @aliabdaal to help you get over that fear. One of his videos about starting a UA-cam channel gives you the levels about creation. Best thing to do is just make videos even if you don’t think they are good. If you make them, they will come!! Good luck and looking forward to your next video!!

does the snap on closure on the moterm annoy you when you're writing in your weeks?
for me, no. also overtime and using it every day seems to stay open and flat on that side. If you aren't thrilled about that you could look into planner room shop and get one of her folios that doesn't have a snap closure. Since Q1 is coming to a close I do plan to do an updated video on my weeks to show how things are going and all that, so I'll show that planner as well.

I tried to use the weeks for my finances and HATED it but I think I would have actually used it if I had made my trackers horizontal
yeah I dont like to carry my finances with me everywhere I go just in case I lose something but I think this method will work out really well for me. Let's see how the year goes and I can report back hahah
